I’m Amber Cruz, an illustrator working under the name Rue Draws. I create playful, stylized illustrations with a focus on character, charm, and clear visual storytelling. My work is inspired by a love of cozy worlds, expressive designs, and art that feels approachable and imaginative.

I’m currently focused on illustration for products, print, and children’s-adjacent media, while continuing to grow my skills in environments and worldbuilding with the long-term goal of working in games and visual development. I enjoy creating art that feels inviting, thoughtful, and full of quiet personality.
